Inwood Township SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE
The Inwood Township Board will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday,
April 28th at 6:00 PM at the Inwood Township Hall.
Purpose of Meeting: To discuss current challenges at the new Inwood
Township Cemetery, address ongoing issues, and plan for future
improvements and needs.
This notice is posted in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.

Township Residents Only!
2026 SPRING CLEAN-UP
Inwood Township will be holding a Spring Cleanup for their
Residents. Inwood Township Residents MUST go into
the office at Zellar Sanitation (drop-off site) BEFORE
pulling onto the scale and tell them their 911 ADDRESS
(NUMBER & ROAD NAME) in Inwood Township and present your
Michigan Driver’s License. You must also legibly
sign & print your name and phone number on the slip.
DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE SCALE.
1 - 600# Pickup or Small Trailer load
per household. Any amount over 600# must be paid at the time of
drop-off.
Items accepted include: Household waste, Remodeling
waste, lumber, mattresses, box springs, carpeting, televisions &
laptops & computers.
Items not accepted: Electronics (except laptops &
computers), hazardous materials, roofing, tires, lg. auto parts,
cement products, brush or trees, and household appliances.
There will be no curbside pickup.
You are asked to please take your metals to: Turek Used Cars on the
Little Harbor Road. They accept all metals, household appliances
refrigerators and freezers with a sticker at no charge.
Spring Clean-up dates for Inwood
Township residents are:
Monday, May 11 thru Friday, May 15,
between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
and Saturday, May 16, from 8 a.m. until 12 noon at Zellar Sanitation, Inc. 415 Chippewa Avenue.
Note: this free clean-up does not include city residents or other
township residents. A list of all eligible residents will be
provided by the township to Zellar Sanitation.
No contractors please.
